Our professionals:

Gary A. Davidson - Mr. Davidson is the managing shareholder of the firm. He has been in public accounting since 1980 and is recognized in business valuations, litigation support, corporate structuring, emerging business development and estate planning. Prior to starting the firm, Mr. Davidson was a manager at Deloitte & Touche in San Antonio. Mr. Davidson is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Texas Society of CPA's. He has also received the Certified Valuation Analyst designation from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Patrick L. Freedle - Mr. Freedle worked for the IRS for several years after graduating from Texas Tech University. He has been in public accounting since 1989 with a large Dallas firm and in the Hill Country. Mr. Freedle is skilled in the areas of tax compliance, tax and estate planning, IRS negotiations, and small business auditing. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPA's.

Gregory J. Espenhover - Mr. Espenhover has been in public accounting since 1986. He worked in the audit department at Deloitte & Touche for four years prior to helping start our firm. He is skilled in small business auditing and computer technology including accounting applications and networking. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Texas Society of CPA's. He also holds the Certified Information Technology Professional designation issued by the AICPA.

Kerwin L. Overby - Mr. Overby has been in public accounting since 1987. He previously worked in the tax and audit departments of Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Overby is skilled in tax deferral, IRS negotiations, estate planning, and tax deferred like-kind exchanges. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPA's.

Richard B. Cox, Jr. - Mr. Cox has been in public accounting since 1985. He worked in the tax department at Arthur Young and a local firm in Kerrville prior to joining Davidson, Freedle, Espenhover & Overby, P.C. in 1990. Mr. Cox has a wide range of tax experience including trust accounting and estate planning. He has a Masters Degree in Taxation from The University of Texas at Austin. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPA's.

Sherrie Gold - Mrs. Gold has been in public accounting since 1989. She worked on a wide variety of clients while with the audit department of Deloitte & Touche. Mrs. Gold has many years of experience in bank auditing and providing other business tax and auditing services. She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPA's.
